coming in 2014!
International Students’ Moving Type Festival
TYPE IN MUSIC / the rhythm of letters
We would like the next year’s festival to be focused on typography in relation to music, sounds, film, songs, spoken language…
It would be again divided into one part of lectures and one part of students’ films projections. We would like to organize workshops as well.
The students’ films categories we would like to suggest are:
2. movie titles
3. visual poetry
4. art & experimental with sounds
Who would we like to invite? What kind of lectures would we like to listen to? What topics related to our main theme?
1. movie titles creators
2. video-clip directors
3. generators of music and type
4. a letter as an abstract symbol of sounds
5. teaching to read with the help of spoken language (regarding children or adults
6. calligraphy in relation to graphic design
8. Japanese poems, haiku in relation to sounds
9. typography in the context of new mobile devices
